Here’s the roundup of outdoor rugs for the summer of 2021. There’s something magical about a new outdoor rug. It just perks up the patio, doesn’t it? Outdoor rugs are the best because you can often just hose them off when things get messy. Many of these will sell out as spring turns into summer, so you might want to plan ahead if you’re in the market for a new rug.

Last year, I bought this outdoor rug from Dash & Albert. I still love it! When it gets dirty, I just spray it down and scrub a little, and everything comes right out. I layered the black and white rug under a coir doormat, which I stenciled last summer.

These come in all different sizes, so don’t be thrown by the prices noted below. That’s just for the smallest size. You’ll have to click through the links to see if the rugs are available in the size you need. Also, these are all polypropylene or some other version of plastic, so the care instructions will tell you to either wipe or hose them off (easy!).

Target outdoor rugs get their own graphic entirely. They are affordable, in the low-to-mid price range, and yet stylish. Here’s the perfect opportunity to go with a bold design in your outdoor space, if you choose. Last year I bought this outdoor rug from Target, which lived on our back porch for the summer. Then I moved it to my office, where I am currently updating this post. It’s held up beautifully, even the tassels are still perfect!
I’ve pulled together some beautiful rugs from the Target brands, but there are tons on their website. I can’t vouch for every outdoor rug here, but I’ve been pleased with Target rugs in the past.
