Because I track sales data driven by my website traffic, I can see what real people are buying. These aren’t home flippers looking for the cheapest possible hardware; my readers appreciate stylish, affordable, quality products.

At this point, I am still trying to gather data from my affiliate links to Home Depot. I’m sharing my data from Amazon because it’s much easier to analyze those reports.
If I’m able to get more specifics from Home Depot, I will certainly expand this content.
This data is pulled from January 2022 through August 2023, because remodeling trends don’t change on a dime; they evolve gradually over the years. It’s interesting to see how the cabinet hardware choices have shifted.
How Cabinet Hardware Picks Have Changed

Interestingly, based on my Amazon links, all of the top cabinet hardware sellers in 2023 are brass. That’s a huge change from 2022, when the clear winner was black square pulls. The most popular styles are still similar: modern, sleek, and streamlined pulls are the winners.
Here’s a great example of what’s ruling 2023: brass.
Although these specific brass knurled pulls did not make it on my list, they are gorgeous. I pulled this image from Wayfair (affiliate link) to show an example. Brass looks especially pretty on colorful, painted cabinets, which are starting to make a comeback.

Let’s start with 2022. Based on my analysis of what people bought through my Amazon links, I’ve grouped these picks by style.
Black, square cabinet handles were far and away the top seller in 2022, followed by brass and stainless or brushed silver finishes.
It’s interesting to see that square pulls really dominated kitchen remodels in 2022. Including ours!

Tubular Bar Pulls
The other trending top picks in 2022 were tubular-style bar pulls. These pulls are a classic style for good reason, and the chosen finishes cover all the bases. These t-bar pulls were also very popular.
