I’ve been researching modern cabinet knobs as part of a quick vanity update in our main bathroom. Last weekend, I dove into a cheap-o bathroom makeover that I’ll share once I get a little farther along. All I bought was a pint of black milk paint and a quart of flat top coat (which I’ll also use for future projects). Here’s a sneak peak!

Matte Black Modern Cabinet Knobs
Since I have a bunch of these $5 matte black modern cabinet knobs leftover from our kitchen remodel, I’m planning to use some of them on this project. Matte black knobs are one of my favorite accents in a neutral space. Usually they provide a pop of contrast, but this time, I’m trying out the monochrome look.
It would be perfect (meaning free) to reuse the knobs I have on hand, so I’m thinking of adding a little contrast to make this project more interesting. I’ve been hunting for two unique knobs to install on the cabinet doors in the center of the vanity. Those are the doors on the left, below.

Researching modern cabinet knobs was harder than I expected, because there are so many great choices! Here are my favorites in a range of finishes, and most of these are available in more finishes than what you see in the grid below. You’ll have to click through to see all the options, but you might find a winner here. Rejuvenation hardware often catches my eye with beautiful, streamlined designs, and CB2 has great prices for modern designs. Those are my go-to sites for unique hardware.
